CHRIS' SPIRITUAL BACKGROUND

From the early 1970’s, Chris has walked the spiritual path, embracing interfaith studies and metaphysical books of wisdom, and attending seminars and intensive training courses by master teachers and presenters.

“Chris’ ability to tap into the Higher Realms, both lyrically and musically, is profound,” says Judith, his wife and partner for over 30 years.  “His deep sensitivity, personal life experience and empathy with the human condition has created a catalog that covers a song for almost every facet of the human journey, giving us inspirational and insightful songs of encouragement and reflection.”

While roofing barracks in Texas in 1977 and lying out under a dark, starlit sky, Chris heard and wrote music to Alice Bailey’s prayer, The Great Invocation, which has been sung world-wide as an opening invocation for conferences and ceremonies.

During Chris’ seven year sojourn in England 1983 – 1990, Sir George Trevelyan became a respected and good friend and said of Chris’s work:

“Poetry and song rightly hold a major place in the new expression.  Chris is both a fine poet and a marvelous singer.” (Sir George Trevelyan) 

Having performed in large stadiums when touring as "Jesus" in Jesus Christ Superstar, Chris is comfortable performing in large arenas. He has also performed at many Churches, at Festivals of Mind, Body and Spirit in the UK and States, and for conferences in such places as the A.R.E. in Virginia Beach.  Following one such conference, Larry Dossey kindly validated Chris with the following statement:

Chris has spent the majority of his career performing in musical theater and acting. He has been making more time available to perform for events that support the awakening to higher consciousness of our Oneness with all sentient beings,  and welcomes opportunities to collaborate and perform.
He can perform solo with guitar, or can arrange for larger productions
with other musicians and singers to join him.
